Warranty

Please make sure you retain your official Uplinx tax invoice for any purchases of goods or services. Without your official tax invoice, you may be denied warranty.

  • Uplinx standard warranty is one year return to base warranty, unless otherwise stated. We honour manufacturers warranty period. (Most components have 12 months manufacturer warranty).
  • We honour / pass any warranty terms and conditions from our supplier onto the customer.
  • Warranty will not be covered if any products are physically damaged.
  • Warranty does not include software issues or loss of data.
  • Uplinx is not responsible for the potential failure of any device not supplied by us due to the failure of any of our supplied components. It is best to ensure that components are installed by a qualified IT technician.
  • Any part returned for warranty that tests ok may incur $30 testing charge.
  • CD Media has no warranty unless manufacturer defects are visible and can be proven to be such defects.
  • If customers choose to install any Uplinx products themselves, Uplinx will not be responsible for any failure that may occur to those products due to incorrect installation, or by not following installation guidelines recommended by the products designers. Uplinx recommends a certified technician to install any hardware purchased.
  • Uplinx always recommends a good backup strategy, because we will not be responsible for any software, data or hardware problem while we carry out repair or sevice work.
  • Onsite Warranty Quotes Available on request.

Returns

All sales are final once payment has been received. It is the customers responsibility to undertake sufficient research prior to purchase to check that the products that they are purchasing are suitable for their intended purchase. If you have questions about the product you intend to purchase, please contact us before placing your order.

Refunds are only available in circumstances where the product differs from the written description on our website in a way that renders it unsuitable for the general purpose of such products, or where a defect (not due to damage in transit) is apparent at the time of receipt and that defect is immediately notified by email to Uplinx, and the presence of the defect is able to be verified by us on return of the item. In all other circumstances, the provisions of the warranty provided by the manufacturer shall apply. In the case of both refunds and warranty service, the customer shall return of the item at their risk and expense.
